This is our blog I ricercatori non crescono sugli alberi ("Researchers do not grow on trees") about the situation of Italian reasearch and university system. This is also the title of a book I have recently written in collaboration with Stefano Zapperi (the book is in Italian !).

 

 

I am a co-founder of the Paolo Sylos Labini Association. Paolo was my father and he was a prominent economist. In Italy he is also known  for his sociological and political activies. Here you may find an article (in Italian) I have written about him on an Italian newspaper.
